Anna Waterman was born in 18 October 1671 in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.[[[#Jacobus|Jacobus]]: Vol. 1, Pages 34 – 35][[[#Ransom|Ransom]]: Pages 53, 70] She was the daughter of Deacon John Waterman and Anna Sturtevant.[Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants. The Mayflower Descendant, Vol. II. Boston: 1900. Page 250.]
She first married Robert Ransom in 1690 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.[[[#Torrey|Torrey]]: Page 611] They had the following children:
