Seeth was born 25 Oct 1636.[{{FindAGrave|52419429}}] She was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Gardner.
Joshua Conant, a sea captain, and Seeth Gardner were married before 15 Apr 1657 which was the date that their son Joshua Jr. was born in Salem. ["Massachusetts Births and Christenings, 1639-1915", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FHLR-6H2 : 15 January 2020), Leeth in entry for Joshua Connant, 1657.] Joshua Jr. was baptized 4 June 1657. At the time they were living in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Joshua Sr. died in England in 1659 and the inventory of his estate was taken on May 28, 1659 (see Joshua's profile).
