 | Bethiah Folger married John Barnard on 26 Feb 1668. This is in "A Record of Birth, Marriages, and Deaths on Nantucket"...handwritten entries. Same book lists their death which is correct here as 6 June 1699. It words their death rather oddly saying, they "ended their days". No mention of an Indian with them but did say Eleazor or Eleanor was… |

| Notes |
- == Biography ==
Bethiah was born about 1644 probably in Essex County, Massachusetts, as Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket were not settled until the following decade.
Bethiah and John drowned while returning from the Vineyard where they had been in pursuit of furniture, in company with Eleazer Folger Sr., Isaac Coleman, and an Indian, when the canoe upset and all perished except Eleazer Folger.
They had no children. (They'd been married only about eight months before.)
