On January 12, 1650/1, Joseph Fowler, husbandman of Ipswich, sold land and cattle to Richard Kimball Sr. 'my father in law.'
On October 12, 1650, Martha, wife of Joseph Fowler of Ipswich, was presented for 'pernicious lying' and defamation of her sister Dutch.
Joseph Fowler was killed by the Indians at Squakeheage in September, 1675 and ''his widow Martha married second Ezekiel Rogers'' ''? 2nd marriage needs confirmation.''
