''Record Commissioners A report of the Record Commissioners containing Boston births, baptisms, marriages and deaths, 1630-1699'' Document 130 (Boston, Mass. : Rockwell and Churchill, 1883) pp [https://archive.org/details/reportofrecordco09bost/page/82/mode/2up 82 marriage], 83 (b. Eliz), 92 (b. John), 100 (b. Mary)] John Combs ... He passed away in 1732.
His sister Elizabeth gave him her share of their mother's estate 29 May 1668, recorded 12 Jun 1717 [Suffolk LR 31:240]. He, John Coombs [Jr.] "of Boston, merchant Taylor" sold his uncle, Joseph Royal, his right in his part of the estate of his sister Sarah Barlow. He had previously purchased this form his brother Nathaniel Warren. Deed signed by John and Elizabeth (wife) Coombs 16 Sep 1691 and acknowledged 4 May 1693.[doesn't seem to have a citation on p. 18]
