      Sarah Allerton, daughter of [[Allerton-447|Bartholomew Allerton]] and Mary (____) Allerton, was born ca. 1584, probably in East Bergholt, where her parents were living at the time (note: according her second marriage she was born in London). The 1584 birth estimate is based on her being the immediate older sibling of [[Allerton-3|Isaac]], and in her early 20s when she married John Vincent.Johnson, Caleb. & Allan, Sue & Neal, Simon.       Godbert's name, per Banks, was also written as Cuthbert Cuthbertson. He was a hat-maker from Leiden, as was Priest, and had been in communion with the Pilgrims before their emigration. He had previously been married to Elizabeth Kendall at Leiden on May 27, 1617, who presumably was deceased by the time of his second marriage. Anderson, Robert C.       Sarah and Godbert came to Plymouth on the ship Anne in 1623 with their son, [[Godbertson-2|Samuel]], and Sarah's two daughters from her second marriage.
