According to the 1918 article "A Grandson of Elder Thomas Cushman and Some of His Descendants," Rev. Isaac Cushman was a son of Elder Thomas Cushman and Mary Allerton, born at Plymouth (Plymouth Colony) on 8 February 1648/9 and died at Plympton, Massachusetts, on 21 October 1732. He was for many years pastor of the church at Plympton.
The 1918 article indicated that he married Rebecca Rickard, who was born about 1654 and died at Plympton on 3 September 1727, in her 73rd year. They had six children.Cushman, James Thomas.
