James Cushman, child of [[Coombs-44|Elizabeth (Coombs) Cushman]] and [[Cushman-113|Eleazer Cushman]], born at Plymouth, Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, (estimated date 1692), was a descendant of Mayflower passenger [[Priest-39|Degory Priest]].[Stover, Margaret Harris (re-editor). James married [[Hatch-804|Sarah Hatch]] at Plymouth, 24 Dec 1722.[van Antwerp, Lee D (comp.). Vital Records of Plymouth Massachusetts to the year 1850. Ruth Wilder Sherman (ed.) James died at Dartmouth, Massachusetts, between 14 Mar 1775 (date of will) and 6 Oct 1778 (date proved).
