Thomas Waterman was one of the early settlers of Norwich. He married Miriam Tracy in November 1668 in Norwich. Together they had eight children. Their first child was Thomas born Sep 1670 who married Elizabeth Allyn in 1691. Next, was John born 1672, Elizabeth 1675, Miriam 1678, Martha 1680, Lydia 1683, Joseph 1685 and Ann born 1689.
Thomas Waterman died, aged 63, on 18 Jun 1708 at Norwich, New London County, Connecticut. Thomas was buried at Old Norwichtown Cemetery, Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.[Thomas Waterman {{FindAGrave|71742722}}] It appears the graves were removed and a founders memorial marker is in place in the cemetery with Thomas Waterman's name etched in it.
