At the end of the year I am going to bike lake Rotorua.
I started my training yesterday with a 40km ride, which included a ride up west rd, brookby on the way to Clevedon.
I made it all the way to the top, going from 65m, to 180m in elevation. The fun bit was coming down where I hit 64KM/h hehe.
I averaged 23km/h which is about 10-15km/h slower than I’d like, but probably about as fast as I can get on my bike – I can average 30-35km/h on the flat.. so I just need to work on getting that up I think, and work on getting up the hills a bit faster..
